Yahoo Mail

As an alternative to using a mail client such as Outlook to read, compose and manage your email, you can use a web-based mail provider, such as Gmail, Hotmail or Yahoo. This article covers how to send and receive Webnames-provided email within Yahoo mail. Yahoo supports integration with other mail providers, like Webnames, via POP3

Follow the instructions below, provided by Yahoo, to allow your Webnames-provided emails to appear within your Yahoo mail account. Also recommended is the last step whereby you can also configure your Outlook.com account to be able to send email out through your Webnames-provided email account as well (this is covered in the section "Sending email", below).

POP accounts can only import email messages from the inbox folder.

Connect a mailbox

  1. Mouse over the Settings menu icon and select Settings.
  2. Click Accounts.
  3. Click Add another mailbox.
  4. Enter the email address.
  5. Read the "Next steps" displayed for that email provider.
  6. Click Add mailbox.
  7. In the pop-up window that appears, sign in to the mailbox you're adding. If prompted, use the following information to complete the setup:
  1. Follow the steps in the pop-up window to complete connecting the mailbox.
  2. Click Save.

Now you can switch between mailboxes by clicking them in the sidebar menu where your Inbox and Folders are listed.

Good to know - It can take a while for your account to sync with your Yahoo Mail account.
