Webnames.ca management named finalists in Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® Awards
Vancouver, BC, July 8, 2005 - Webnames.ca Inc. (www.webnames.ca) is pleased to announce today that their management team - John Demco, Matthew Lane, Cybele Negris, and Stephen Smith - have been selected as finalists in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2005 Pacific awards. Webnames.ca is one of three finalists chosen in the Information Technology category.
From an impressive list of nominees, 26 best-in-class entrepreneurs-chosen for their business leadership skills, determination and vision-have been selected as Pacific region finalists in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2005 awards.

Canada's most prestigious business awards program is now in its 12th year. The program considers nominees in a number of business categories before selecting finalists.
The Entrepreneur Of The Year 2005 Pacific awards will be presented on October 3, 2005 at the annual gala celebration at the Vancouver Trade and Convention Centre. One recipient from the seven categories will be honoured with the title of Entrepreneur Of The Year. The Entrepreneur Of The Year for the region will then go on to compete against the other regions for the title of Canada’s Entrepreneur Of The Year, and the winner of that will compete against more than 35 country recipients for the title of World Entrepreneur of the Year.
